Dr. Douglas Mest, MD, owner and medical director of Tat2BeGone, Medical Group, is a Philadelphia native that graduated with honors from Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his post graduate training at The University of California at Irvine.
Dr. Mest is the former medical director of Outpatient Surgical Services at UC Irvine Medical Center and has served as an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Irvine.

With the explosive growth of tattoos over the past 10 years, Dr. Mest saw the need to create a dedicated tattoo removal center that offered patients a safe and caring environment to remove tattoos or lighten existing tattoos; a need that Dr. Mest felt was not being met in the traditional medical environment.
Dr. Mest offers state-of-the-art laser tattoo removal technology in a welcoming and safe environment to help patients who wish to change their outward markings and begin anew.
Cynthia Sandoval, BSN, RN, Nursing Supervisor, has been with Tat2BeGone Medical Group, Inc. since May 2007. She graduated from California State University, Long Beach in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her nursing career includes positions as a hospital staff nurse specializing in cardiology, educator, home health nurse, nursing supervisor, home health agency quality manager, and occupational health nurse.
Cynthia is responsible for performing patient consultations and laser treatments, training new staff RNs, as well as managing the Tat2BeGone Medical Group nursing staff for the Medical Director, Dr. Mest.
Cynthia loves the interaction and relationship building she develops with each patient and strives to establish the highest level of patient satisfaction throughout the entire removal process.
Jerry Lorito is the Vice President of Operations for Tat2BeGone, Medical Group, and serves to educate and help people understand the process and technology involved with removing unwanted tattoos. He has personally been removing his tattoos on both arms from elbows to wrists, and at this point is about 98% ink-free. As a living testament to what laser tattoo removal can do, Jerry allows potential patients to see first-hand that colorful, professional tattoos can be removed with minimum risk of any pigmented discoloring with his personal tattoo removal before and after pictures.
